If you know anything about the local real estate market, you know that Van Metre has a reputation for building amazing luxury homes. But even so, The Preserve at Westfields stands out with its commitment to luxury. In this community, Van Metre is offering its Regatta Collection which perfectly exemplifies how their urban townhomes are different by design.
Today, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the different homes buyers can choose from in this community. We highly recommend you preview each model in person, but our goal is to help you know what you’ll be looking at before you go out for your first visit. Van Metre is currently offering two models at the Preserve at Westfields, each with its own unique characteristics.
The Stonecroft Floorplan
We’ll start our tour with the Stonecroft model. Though you won’t find much difference in the overall aesthetic of these two homes (both are loaded with high-end upgrades), you will notice the difference when it comes to window placement and layout.
The Stonecroft is always a corner home; meaning that this model has more windows on the main living level; we know many buyers prefer to have the end unit and especially if it’s flooded with natural light.
These floorplans have an extra walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Not many new construction townhomes include two closets in the master. The Stonecroft also includes three bedrooms and three full and two half baths with the option to add a fourth bed and bath on the lower level.
Middlegate Model
The second of the two homes currently available at The Preserve at Westfields is The Middlegate. This floor plan is no less impressive than the Stonecroft. The Middlegate is the interior home, meaning that it shares walls on both sides and is the larger of the two-floor plans. The abundance of space is especially apparent on the upper level where the third bedroom feels like an extra master suite with an extensive walk-in closet.
You’ll also notice the extra space on the main level where the absence of side windows allows ample wall space. The oversized kitchen island does a perfect job of highlighting this added room and unifying the main living level. The mudroom on the main level of this model is an added bonus that provides a convenient location for dirty shoes, bags, and umbrellas.
Both The Stonecroft and The Middlegate include Monogram appliances, quartz or granite countertops, high-end Kraftmaid cabinets in the kitchen,, high-tech communication systems, and large Sky Decks with an optional outdoor fireplace.
The community
The Preserve at Westfields is often described as peaceful and serene. Though conveniently located near several major shopping districts and highways, once inside the community you feel completely surrounded by privacy.
The centerpiece of the neighborhood is a large pond with walking trails and 100-year-old trees. Along the winding trails, you’ll pass an amphitheater, children’s play area, boardwalk, community commons, and several charcoal grill stations. The pond and nature trails are great for those midday breaks from work when you just cannot stare at a computer screen one minute longer.
If you act quickly you may still have the opportunity to make one of these homes next to the pond yours. This current row of townhomes has beautiful views of the pond and nature trails from the upper-level sky deck. However, these homes definitely won’t last long.
Nearby
Though you might not ever want to leave, eventually you’ll need to buy groceries. The good news is that there are loads of shopping and dining options near The Preserve at Westfields. In fact, there are two Target locations in close proximity as well as a Costco, Walmart, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods. And Wegman’s is a 2-minute drive away. New construction homes at this level of quality are less common than you think. Van Metre has thoughtfully designed these townhomes with the homeowner’s wants and needs in mind. At The Preserve at Westfields, you not only get a gorgeous home, but you also enjoy the natural surroundings and convenience of a beautiful neighborhood.
