Welcome to our tour of Frederick County, Maryland. Last time we visited Frederick, the bustling county seat, and highlighted the many shops and restaurants along its Main Street district.
Today we’re slowing things down in a charming colonial town that’s known for some of the best antique hunting in the country. New Market, Maryland is in fact designated as the antique capital of Maryland. The town’s population is under one thousand people, but tourists flock here in the busy season to peruse the stores and prowl for hidden treasures.
Several new construction builders, seeing the charm of this small community, have begun developing and offering a diverse array of homes in and around New Market. In this tour, we will be visiting two such communities that offer an exceptional level of value for home shoppers. Those two neighborhoods are Lake Linganore Oakdale and Lake Linganore Woodridge. There are also multiple builders in each of these communities. We will be focusing on the offerings of Ryan Homes and NVHomes. So, let’s go check out the neighborhoods.
Lake Linganore Oakdale
This first neighborhood boasts a variety of housing options, top-notch amenities, easy access to I70 and other major highways, and so much more. Enjoy the lake lifestyle at Lake Linganore Oakdale with the added bonus of a future town center nearby. Some of the featured amenities include a pool, clubhouse, basketball and volleyball courts, disc golf course, and a dog park. Our advice is to take a tour of this neighborhood as soon as possible. Space is limited and a location like this is sure to sell out fast.
Lake Linganore Woodridge
The next stop on our tour is just down the road from Oakdale on the north side of Lake Linganore. Lake Linganore Woodridge offers resort-style amenities, easy access to downtown Frederick, a top-ranked school district, and close proximity to everything Lake Linganore has to offer. Once again both Ryan Homes and NVHomes feature models in this unique community. Ryan Homes is offering six stylish, modern floor plans to choose from. Some standout features include available first-level owners suites, two and three-car garages, and over 3,000 square feet of living space in some models.
NVHomes is offering the luxury home option to home shoppers in this community. Their models feature an estate-style floor plan with over 5,500 square feet of available living space. These luxury estates are also located in the most wooded and private area of Lake Linganore Woodridge. Once again, our suggestion would be to visit this community in person and get a feel for the amenities and home options.
