On today’s tour, we begin our exploration of New Castle County, Delaware. New Castle is the northern-most county in the state and also the most populous. That isn’t to say however the county is a crowded place. If you’re looking for a relaxing, yet convenient place to call home, New Castle County is the place to be. Today we will journey down to three neighborhoods in Middletown, Delaware, we think best exemplifies what new home shoppers can expect to find in this area.
Middletown offers its residents a true sense of separation from the stresses of modern city life while also being conveniently located close to several metropolitan areas. Both Philadelphia and Baltimore are a short car ride away. To kick things off we’re going to head over to Cedar Lane, a KHovnanian development. We really think new construction shoppers are going to be very pleased with the potential of this community.
Cedar Lane
K Hovnanian Homes is developing new homes in an exclusive section of Cedar Lane called The Estates. If you’re looking for that private, spacious, estate vibe, this is the neighborhood for you. Cedar Lane features half-acre homesites with tree-lined yards and up to four-bedroom floor plans. The side garages and traditional facades give this neighborhood a luxury aesthetic that’s hard to find in this lower price range. Many home buyers also flock to this neighborhood for the schools. In fact, Cedar Lane is located in Delaware’s #1 school district. As we mentioned earlier, this neighborhood is exclusive, and homesites are limited. So, come by as early as you can to take a tour.
High Hook Farms
The next community we’re visiting in Middletown is an opportunity for new home shoppers to get in on the ground floor of a brand new Ryan Homes development. Being part of the first phase of this community means you’ll be able to truly design your own home. From the lot and exterior design to the fixtures and finishes, this home will be 100 percent your own. Driving past the neighborhood now you can see just how picturesque the scene will be after the homes fill the empty spaces along the tree-lined streets. Ryan Homes has plans to build everything from townhomes to large estate homes here in High Hook Farms. Once again, it’s a good idea to get your name on the list early for this community.
Parkside
Our final new home neighborhood on the tour today is another Ryan Homes development called Parkside. This neighborhood is full of charm and character. Featuring tree-lined streets with wide sidewalks and cottage-style homes that blend perfectly with the Delaware landscape. The luxury amenities offer something for the whole family to do on weekends. Homes in this neighborhood are sure to go quickly.
Thanks for joining us on this tour of Middletown! The best thing about each of these neighborhoods is the builders. K Hovnanian Homes and Ryan Homes are both outstanding when it comes to both customer service and craftsmanship. Don’t delay, schedule your in-person tour of these neighborhoods as soon as possible!
