We’ve had the privilege of researching lots of great communities and builders, but some neighborhoods are particularly exciting. Montgomery Row is one of those. If you’ve been near northern Bethesda recently you’ve seen this EYA modern townhome community.
An obvious draw is an amazing location, close to shopping and dining in the heart of Bethesda, and it’s no wonder these homes are almost completely sold out. The floorplans we’ll be covering in this article are the only three remainings as of our publishing date.
Calvin Model
This floorplan is the most modest of those offered by EYA at Montgomery Row. The Calvin Model comes standard with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. However, you have the option to add an additional bedroom and bathroom on the garage level and could add an extra bathroom on the terrace level connected to the third bedroom.
As mentioned, this floor plan is considerably smaller than the others at around 2,100 square feet. The common areas on the main level are also closer, containing only a kitchen, small dining room, and living room. The plus side is that you have flex spaces on the first and fourth floors if you need an office, man-cave, or playroom. The terrace on this plan shares its space with the fourth-floor loft and extra bedroom making it only about 180 square feet.
Daniel Model
The next level up from the Calvin Model is the Daniel Model. This model has an additional 500 square feet of living space over the other floor plan. Starting on the main level and working out way up, you will first notice the expansive great room which is missing from the Calvin Model.
The upper level also adds a few features including an extra bedroom and a balcony. The Daniel Model comes standard with four bedrooms and the option to add a fifth. The space in the Daniel Model comes from its added width, not depth. You really feel this additional space in the main level great room as well as in the master suite with its over-sized walk-in closet.
Ellis Model
I’ve saved the biggest and best for last. The Ellis Model is both wider and deeper than both the Calvin Model and Daniel Model. This model has around 2,600 square feet of indoor living space, as well as a rooftop level that covers the entire footprint of the townhome. Where the Calvin Model and Daniel Model have only a partial terrace level, the Ellis Model has nearly 1,000 square feet of lounge, outdoor kitchen, and open space. If it’s in your budget, the Ellis Model is definitely the way to go. The prices for a Montgomery Row townhome are a bit high, but that should be expected for such a prime location. As we mentioned earlier, there are just a few of these units left. So, if you’re interested swing by soon!
