For this third installment of our series on Loudoun County, we’ll be covering Brambleton, Virginia. This master-planned community in the eastern portion of the county began its life in the early 2000s. The vision for Brambleton and its development go far beyond what most of us imagine when we think of “master-planned community.” The developers have created a small, quiet, family friendly town with all the major amenities of the big city.
The neighborhood features its own schools, over 40 shops and restaurants, a movie theater, state-of-the-art fitness center, and miles of walking paths. Properties in this community sell fast, but there are still homes available from Van Metre and Knutson, and you won’t be disappointed with the selection.
Downtown Brambleton
A Van Metre development, Downtown Brambleton offers uptown style and convenience in a laidback suburban environment. While still connected to Brambleton’s parks, pools, and walking paths, Downtown Brambleton is a small city on its own.
Boutiques, restaurants, movies, and meeting places are right outside your door, and the Van Metre townhomes in this section have a distinctive urban-industrial feel with spacious open floor plans and modern finishes.
The last of the move-in ready Davis and Gillespie models are available as of the date of this article. And if you’re looking for the opportunity to design for yourself, take a look at the Parker I, Ellington, or Teagarden. Our favorite of these options is the Teagarden with its optional terrace level and outdoor kitchen.
Brambleton Town Center
Not far from the Van Metre townhomes, Knutson has created a section called Brambleton Town Center. The townhomes in this area are located along with the Brambleton’s large green space and are just steps from over 40 shops and restaurants.
The Knutson townhomes boast the best value in Downtown Brambleton. At a lower price point than the Van Metre townhomes, you still get a high-quality, stylish residence in the shopping district. The floor plans are a bit smaller than those found in the Van Metre townhomes, but they feature two spacious outdoor living spaces. There are four three-bed, two-bath models to choose from: The Barrett, The Fleetwood, The Prescott, and The Rockland. Each of these models features a chef’s kitchen, modern finishes, and a two-car garage. If you’re shopping for a home near Downtown Brambleton, be sure to check these out on your visit. With its small-town feel and big-city conveniences, Brambleton offers an opportunity to build a comfortable life and home for your family in a beautiful, master-planned community. With shopping, leisure, and award-winning schools right in the neighborhood, there’s hardly any reason to leave. But, if you decide to go on an adventure, D.C. is just down the road!
