If you want to get a sense of what life is like in a neighborhood that interests you, the best way to do it is to head out and spend some time in and around the community.
The good news is that Virginia’s best planned communities have tons of fun things to do and see. And you don’t have to live there (yet) to enjoy the lifestyle and find a place that feels like home.
New Homes Guide can connect you to these great communities. Here’s a preview of the some of the special events and attractions that you’ll want to check out.
BRAMBLETON IN ASHBURN
Homes by: Miller & Smith, Van Metre Homes and Winchester Homes
The Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series at the Brambleton Town Center is the perfect chance to come out and see the community while listening to some great tunes. Gates open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm. Go back in time with Toxic Mouse, an ’80’s cover band, on Thursday, June 25. Or if you’re looking for an alternative that’s a little more, well, alternative, come out on Thursday, July 9 and hear some awesome Pearl Jam covers from The Ten Band.
EMBREY MILL IN STAFFORD
Homes by: Richmond American, Miller & Smith, Brookfield Residential, Atlantic Builders and Integrity Homes
The Before ‘n’ After Cafe at Embrey Mill is open to the public and the perfect place to stop in for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat as you visit the community. It seems there’s always something fun going on at the cafe, including Taco Tuesdays and Wine Down Wednesdays. Or maybe you’d rather stop in for Sunday Brunch?
LOUDOUN VALLEY IN ASHBURN
Homes by: Toll Brothers
You don’t have to live there to appreciate all the beautiful nature that surrounds Loudoun Valley. The community includes 140 acres set aside for tree preservation and more than 130 acres for the public Broad Run Stream Valley Park. Run, hike or bike on the trails or simply appreciate the tranquility of nature.
ONE LOUDOUN IN ASHBURN

Stop by the plaza at One Loudoun for Acoustic Wednesdays and hear great live music from 6pm to 8pm. Or drop in on Saturdays from 8am to 12pm for the weekly Farmer’s Market. You’ll love the selection and the great locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers.
STONE RIDGE IN ALDIE

The Stone Ridge Village Center offers a great selection of shopping and dining opportunities without ever leaving the community. Some of our favorite spots to eat include Glory Days Grill, Mug ‘n’ Muffin Cafe and t’KiLa Kitchen & Bar. But that’s just the beginning. You’ll also find grocery shopping, banking, medical care, a salon & spa and much more.
