Located at the heart of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Maryland’s Prince George’s County is minutes from all of the area’s best adventures. Minutes from downtown DC, adjacent to northern Virginia, less than 25 minutes from Annapolis and 45 minutes from Baltimore, Prince George’s is close to everything.
Officially founded in 1696, Prince George’s County now nears a population of 900,000 while it continues to be in serious growth mode.
Home to the largest construction project on the East Coast with the future MGM Grand Casino and Hotel at National Harbor, this new attraction will add over 4,000 jobs to the area as well as a lot of added revenue. With this planned retail growth, the county is planning to see a business and housing boom as well as an increase in tourism when it opens in 2016.
Prince George’s is also the destination for anyone visiting Six Flags America, FedEx Field – home of the Washington Redskins, National Harbor, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Tanger Outlets, and soon the one and only Capital Wheel.
